December 5 – Elf Academy and Reindeer Games | Mannington | 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Calling all young elves-in-training! Join the staff at Mannington Public Library after the Mannington Holiday parade for a jolly celebration packed with festive fun and magic. Children of all ages will earn their official elf status through different tasks and challenges, ending with the Elf oath ceremony! Also enjoy reindeer games, photo booths and send Santa your wish list. Whether you’re a giggling gumdrop or a peppermint pro, this merry mix of activities will have your spirit soaring. Come dressed in your festive best—elves, reindeer, and snowflakes welcome!
December 13 – Holiday Mayhem Puppet Shows | Fairmont | 11:00 a.m. & 12:00 p.m.
“Holiday Mayhem” is breaking out with seasonal delights at the library! The whimsical puppet show returns with holiday favorites sure to be a delight for everyone! You’ll be toe tapping to some holiday classics and in jolly good spirits with this holiday puppet show.
December 13 – Elves’ Workshop | Fairmont | 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Families are invited to come inside and take a break from the weather and hustle and bustle of the Hometown Christmas Market. School aged children can take a short term job on the Elves Workshop crew, working at school-aged children’s crafting stations to produce winter/holiday themed items suitable for decorating or gifting during this festive season. There will be multiple crafts to choose from – do one or do them all!

Join us at the Fairview Public Library for a festive fun time! Get ready to kick off the holiday season at our community party! Enjoy a delightful time filled with games, exciting prizes, creative crafts, and a thrilling scavenger hunt. Sip on a warm cup of hot chocolate while you cozy up and watch a beloved holiday movie. Best of all, it’s completely FREE! Bring your friends and family for some holiday cheer and community spirit. Don’t miss out on the magic—join us at the library for some festive fun!
