Account Notifications
When signing up for a library card, you can choose how you’d like to receive notifications from us – such as when an item you’ve placed on hold becomes available or when an item is automatically renewed.
We offer three notification options: text (SMS), email, and phone. (Please note: selecting phone means you’ll receive a phone call for hold notifications only.) You may also choose to receive Overdue notices by U.S. Mail. A staff member will set up your preferred notification method based on your selection on the library card application form.
Quick Guide to Updating Notifications
Log in to your account by selecting MY ACCOUNT on the Menu under HELP and entering your library card number and PIN. Then, click Change Contact Info and scroll down to the Notice Preference section. Choose your preferred notification method for each option. You’ll need to re-enter your PIN and click Save to apply your changes.

From here, you can choose the type and method of notifications you’d like to receive for the following:
-
Account Expiration – Notifies you when your library card is about to expire and needs to be renewed.
-
Auto Renewal – Alerts you when an item has been automatically renewed.
-
Hold Arrived – Lets you know when an item you’ve placed on hold is ready for pickup at your local branch.
-
Overdue – Sends a reminder when an item is overdue.
