Book Clubs

Middle School

Book Worms (Mannington): The Book Worms Book Club is recommended for ‘tween ages 10-12 and is held monthly at the Mannington Public Library. Participants discuss books, enjoy a snack, and engage in a book related activity.

Tween the Pages (Fairmont): ‘Tween the Pages meets once monthly at the Marion County Public Library to discuss Newbery Award winners, Newbery Honor winners, or other acclaimed works of Juvenile Fiction. Open to grades 5-8.


Awesome Readers Club (Fairmont): The Awesome Readers Club is a group of high school students who meet once a month at the Marion County Public Library to discuss popular YA books and other books that the students are currently reading.


Beyond the Book (Fairmont): Beyond the Book meets monthly at the Marion County Public Library. Our vision is that we do more than read books. We will also enjoy movies or other activities relating to the book we pick to read.

Cover2Cover (Mannington): The Cover2Cover Book Club meets one Thursday a month (1:30 pm) at the Mannington Public Library for fun discussions about what you’re reading.

Speaking of Books (Fairview): Speaking of Books meets one Tuesday a month (4 pm) at the Fairview Public Library for spirited discussions about reading.
