Get ready to get your hands dirty and dig into some gardening goodness! The Marion County Public Library and the Marion County Master Gardener Association are bursting with excitement to announce the grand opening of “The Seed Vault,” a fabulous new community seed library located at the Marion County Public Library on Saturday, April 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Our garden gurus will be on deck to provide expert advice on starting a new garden, or even helping you squash any gardening challenges you’ve faced before. And if you’ve got some saved seeds from previous seasons, don’t be a pea-brain and leave them at home – bring them along to our seed swap and donation table!

The Beekeeper Association will also be buzzin’ around, with a live hive to give us a sneak peek into the fascinating world of bees and their crucial role in our gardens. And for the little sprouts, we’ve got plenty of children’s activities to keep them blooming with joy. Plus, everyone can enjoy scrumptious snacks and some exciting raffles.

Let’s ring in the arrival of Spring and rejoice in the start of gardening season together! Whether you’re a seasoned green thumb or a fresh sapling, this event is sure to be a good time for all. Don’t miss out on the fun – mark your calendars and join us for a seed-sational day!
