Marion County, WV — January 10, 2025 — Planning for college or trade school can feel daunting, especially when it comes to managing educational expenses. We are here to help! Join us on Saturday, January 25, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, as staff from College for WV provide hands-on guidance to help you file the NEWLY REVISED 2025–2026 FAFSA.

This event offers personalized support to ensure students and families can successfully complete their FAFSA applications, a critical step in accessing financial aid for education.

What You’ll Need to Bring:

  • BOTH students AND parent(s) must create an FSA ID at Studentaid.gov at least 3–5 business days before the event.
  • Your parent/spouse contributors’ names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and email addresses.
  • Income and asset information for some applicants (if applicable).

What to Expect:
Completing a FAFSA typically takes about an hour if you have all the required documents and information. Participants are encouraged to arrive anytime during the event and stay as long as needed to finish.
