Family Fun Halloween Event: Spooky Lane Adventures
Join us as the Marion County Public Library teams up with the United Way of Marion and Taylor Counties to bring you ‘Spooky Lane Adventures’. On Friday October 30th, from 5 pm, until the last car enters at 7:30 pm, your family can drive through Morris Park for a Halloween adventure! Upon arrival, a bag will be hung from your side view mirror to collect treats.
As you drive around Spooky Lane, you will encounter several fun Halloween delights with various scenes. It’s all kid friendly and fun for the whole family to enjoy! Various organizations will be set up with special displays, treats, live animals, costumed characters and more to help celebrate this Halloween delight from the safety of your own car.

Haunted Library: After Hours
Last year we brought you a fun Haunted Library experience walk through attraction. Due to COVID 19, we are unable to bring it back for 2020. However, we have something even creepier in store for you. Christian Cox will come into the library after hours with a flashlight tour of the building, so you can see what all goes on Halloween night.
Tune in for the Facebook LIVE event and brave the flashlight tour of the library after hours. Watch to see if you notice anything paranormal. This is a rare opportunity to be in the library after hours searching in the dark.
Will we have any ghostly encounters? Tune in to see…
