Fairmont:
Marion County Public Library (Fairmont) Baby Time, Toddler Time, and Story Hour participants from the fall semester have been automatically enrolled for Spring 2018, please contact Christian or Julie at 304-366-1210 with any questions or if you are a new participant.

Baby Time (0-18 months) and Toddler Time (18-36 months) classes return the week of February 4! Babies will enjoy songs, fingerplays, sensory crafts, and playtime. Story Hour returns the week of February 4. Story Hour meets Wednesdays at 4:30 pm and Thursdays or Fridays at 10:30 am. Story Hour is open for preschool age children, generally 3-5 years of age. For more information contact Christian at 304-366-1210, extension 113 or at ccox@mcpls.org.

Fairview:
February kicks off the spring semester of story time at the Fairview Public Library. Toddler Time (ages 12 months to 2 years) begins February 4, and Story Hour (ages 3-5 years) begins February 6 and 7. Ms. Janna and Ms. Chasity will be providing stories, crafts, games, and snacks featuring “Once upon a Time,” “Firefighters to the Rescue,” and “It’s Story Time, Charlie Brown.” Registration is required, please call 304-449-1021 or click one of the links below to sign up.

Mannington:
We’re Hooked on Story Time! Learning to read begins before children start school. From the time they are infants, children learn language and other important skills that will help them learn to read. Developing early literacy skills makes it easier for children to learn to read once they begin school.

Spring sessions to resume in February: “Toddler Time” a program for children up to 3 years of age meets on Tuesdays at 10:30 am, and “Story Time” a program for children 2-5 years of age meets on Tuesdays at 12:30 and/or Wednesdays at 10:30.
