Back by popular demand, the $1 bag book sale! The Friends of the Marion County Public Library have restocked the Book Cave with a new selection of books. Stop in on April 5th from 9:00-3:00, buy a bag for $1, stuff it to the brim with books, and then take it home to enjoy.

$1 Bag Sale @ MCPL

In order to make room for more donations in the Friends of the Library Book Cave, the Marion County Public Library will host a $1 bag sale from March 17 - 22 in our downstairs exhibiton space. Purchase a bag at the circulation desk, head downstairs to our exhibition space, and stuff your bag until it's overflowing with books! This is a limited time offer, don't miss out!

Annual Friends of Marion County Public Library Meeting

The Friends of Marion County Public Library will hold their annual meeting on Sunday, September 15th at 2:00pm. West Virginia author, Patricia Harman, will be the guest speaker. Patricia is the author of popular titles, like: The Midwife of Hope RiverThe Blue Cotton Gown, and Arms Wide Ope. Patricia has spent over thirty years caring for women in the field of midwifery. She has a beautiful way with words and writes the stories of herself and others. Please join us for a delightful afternoon.
