Table Top Game Group

Do you like to play board games? Are you tired of Monopoly and Scrabble? Then join us at the main branch on Wednesday nights from 5-9 for our Table Top Game Group! Alternative, advanced and imaginative games will be featured. Bring you own to share! This event is open to adults and mature teens. Refreshments will be provided! Get your game on! 

Trains at MCPLS!

All aboard! Join us and the Clarksburg Area Model Railroad Club for two Saturdays in October for a wonderful train display! Come and see an working and detailed model train set! Dates are Saturday, October 4th and Saturday, October 11th from 9am-3pm. This event is free and open to the public!

Knitting at Mannington and Fairview branches

Both the Fairview and Mannington branches welcome you to their knitting circles! 

Mannington knitters meet on Monday afternoons at 4:00pm. 

On Monday, October 13th, the knitting group is expanding their interest to include a quilting session! If you are interested in quilting, or learning to quilt, join these wonderful ladies from 3:30-7:00pm. You are also invited to knit or crochet at 4:00pm. 

On Tuesdays, the Fairview Public library hosts the Tuesday Nite Knitters from 5:00-7:00pm. 

We hope you will join us! 

Join us in welcoming West Virginia author, Annette Rose

Join us Saturday, October 25th from 11:30-1:00 pm as we welcome local author Annette Rose. She will be available to sign her newest work, Christmas Max. Annette is the author of Eat, Scream and be Merry, a story about her wacky, loving,  Italian family. Christmas Max is a children's book about Max, the dog.

All branches of the Marion County Public Library System will be closed in observance for Columbus Day! We will re-open at 9am on Tuesday, October 14th. See you then!

October 12th-18th is Teen Read Week! Join us in supporting teens in their reading endeavors! The Fairview Public Library will be hosting a movie-tie in night with the showing of Oz. theGreat and Powerful on Tuesday, October 14th at 3:30. Patrons 1-17 are invited and sign up is required.
